The dRC believes advocacy is an important step towards independence. Knowing your civil rights is crucial to living the life you want and deserve.
The dRC is involved in personal advocacy and systemic advocacy. If you feel as though your rights are being impeded on that you speak out for your rights or cause. That is what advocating is all about, your rights as an individual.
